16 Days / 15 Nights

Day 01 Arrive Bangalore
Upon arrival at Bangalore airport you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Popularly known as Garden city & Silicon Valley. The capital of the state, with a finely balanced mix of natural attractions & superb historic architecture. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

Day 02 City Tour
Today proceed on a guided tour of Bangalore, explore the Lal Bagh Botanical Garden on a fascinating horticultural odyssey. Continue on visit to Tipu Sultan Palace & Bull Temple. Evening is free to explore the local bazaars. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

Day 03 Drive to Mysore (160 kms)
After breakfast we will drive you to sandalwood city of Mysore. Enroure visit Srirangapatnam, the place from where Haider Ali & Tipu Sultan ruled much of southern India during the 18th century. Built in long island in the Cauvery river, the crumbling fort stands as testimony to their historic resistance to the British. Continue your drive to Mysore, check in upon arrival. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 04 Tour Mysore
Your tour of Mysore includes visits to City Palace, Chamundi Hill (where Nandi, a huge monolithic image of Shiva’s Bull, is always garlanded with flowers and held in high esteem by Hindus), and the colorful and aromatic spice markets. Your afternoon is at leisure. This evening drive 10 miles from Mysore to enjoy the beautiful and exquisitely illuminated Brindavan Gardens, sprawling amid gorgeous cascading fountains. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 05 Drive to Hassan (130 kms)
Today drive to ancient town of Hassan, enroute visit Sravanabelagola, the monk of the White Pond, the 17m tall naked statue of Bahubali said to be the world largest monolithic statue. It is one of the oldest Jain pilgrimage centres. Continue your drive to Hassan where you will visit Belur is situated on the banks of the Yagachi River and the Chennakesava Temple basks in the glory of one of the greatest monuments of medieval art in India. An outstanding example of Indian temple architecture is found in Halebid. The Hoysaleshwara Temple’s entire surface is covered with a succession of friezes running its entire length, featuring elephants, lions, horsemen, and an incredible display of celestial beasts and birds. Return to the base Hassan & check in. Overnight stay in Hassan.

Day 06 Drive to Hospet (350 kms)
After breakfast drive to Hospet which is the base for an excursion to one of the most fascinating historical sites of South India, the ruins of Vijaynagar at Hampi, set amid a strange & beautiful older-strewn landscape. You will also visit the 16th century Vittala Temple, a world of Heritage Monument that stands as the pinnacle of Vijaynagar art & sculpture. Late evening check in. Overnight stay at Hospet.

Day 07 Drive to Badami (150 kms)
Your next stop on this journey is at Badami. Set in a beautiful countryside amongst red sandstone hills, rock hewn tanks & farmlands. Badami was once the capital of the mighty Chalukya Empire that ruled vast parts of central & south India from 4th – 8th century. At Badami, you will see the finest examples of Dravidian cave temples. Check in late evening & relax. Overnight stay at Badami.

Day 08 Visit Aihole & Pattadakal
From Badami, you will take a full day excursion to Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole is where you will witness the evolution of Hindu temple architecture from the early shrines of the Lad Khan Temple to more complex structures like that of the Meguti Temple. In the centre of the village is the famous Durgigudi temple, known for its semicircular apse and the outstanding carvings that crowd the colonnaded passageway. Pattadakal, another developing ground for Hindu temple architecture, was the second capital of the Badami Chalukyans, used specially for royal coronations. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Badami.

Day 09 Drive to Goa (350 kms)
It’s time to unwind. Today we will drive you to Goa. Check in upon arrival. Lie back on the pristine beaches of Goa, sip a cool drink, get a tan, or if the urge for discovery lingers on, explore the rich historical, religious and natural charms of Goa.

Day 10 Unwind
Full day is at leisure to enjoy the sun and ambiance of some of the most beautiful bathing beaches in the world. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 11 Fly to Mumbai
Today we will transfer you to Goa airport for flight to financial capital of India, Mumbai. A fascinating mix of commercial hustle & bustle, grand Victorian styled architecture & modern day high rise buildings, the customs & colour of truly multi-cultural society. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the evening is free to explore the local bazaars. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 12 City Tour
Today proceed for a tour of Mumbai, which includes the British built arch “Gateway of India,” the Hanging Gardens and Malabar Hills where Mumbai’s rich and famous live, the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Marine Drive, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Jain Temple. Rest of the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 13 Fly to Aurangabad
Today we will transfer you to Mumbai airport for flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival you will be met & transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or to explore the city. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.


Day 14 Visit Ajanta Caves (110 kms)
Today enjoy a full day excursion to Ajanta, one of India’s most impressive archaeological sites. Here Buddhist art attained its peak. The frescoes and wall
paintings reveal a fascinating lifestyle. Thirty caves are carved out of a rocky gorge dating back to the 3rd century. The ornate facades and interior chambers are illuminated at all times of the day. Return to hotel & relax. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 15 Visit Ellora Caves (30 kms)
Tour the Ellora group of rock cut caves. The most magnificent is the Kailashanatha Temple (Cave 16), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple has actually been sculpted out of a single mountain, and it depicts Mount Kailasa, the sacred abode of Lord Shiva. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 16 Departure
Today we will transfer you to airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival we will transfer you to International terminal for your onward flight back home. Return home with colourful memories of India.
